Kylie Jenner's Musical Ambitions: 'I Don't Think I'm Like Adele or Anything'
Kylie Jenner, the renowned beauty mogul, has sparked curiosity among fans with her recent musical endeavors. In an interview, Jenner revealed her surprising openness to pursuing a career in music, despite her initial lack of confidence.
Jenner, who recently collaborated with Terror Jr on the song 'Fourth Strike', expressed her long-held dream of becoming a pop star. She shared, 'This is my dream, even since I came out of the womb, I wanted to be a pop star. But I just never had the confidence.'
As she approaches her 30s, Jenner is determined to pursue her passions without regrets. She humorously added, 'I’m going to be 30 soon and I just don’t want to look back on life and have any regrets and this is something I’ve always wanted to try. But, you know, I don’t think I’m like Adele or anything.'
The recording process was a challenging yet rewarding experience. During her first session, Jenner was nervous and had a few vodka sodas to calm her nerves. She attended two studio sessions, each lasting five to six hours, to record her feature. In 'Fourth Strike', Jenner showcases her rap skills, delivering the line, 'One strike, two strike, let me get the mood right. Do it on purpose just to see how it ends.'
When asked about her future in music, Jenner expressed enthusiasm, stating, 'I hope so. I would love to try. I don’t want it to end. And I think, why not? I think we should try. Let’s like, make an album.'
'Fourth Strike' is a sequel to Terror Jr's 2016 song '3 Strikes', which featured Jenner's alter ego, 'King Kylie', in its music video. This collaboration marks a significant step in Jenner's exploration of her musical aspirations, leaving fans eager to see what the future holds for the pop star in the making.
